AI Technical Engineer (AI Systems Engineer) to $4000

Role Overview 

The AI Technical Engineer is responsible for designing and developing AI-driven prototypes, system components, and automation tools that support technical pre-sales, rapid proof-of-concept development, and internal engineering acceleration. 
The role focuses on hands-on software engineering, advanced AI integration, and building reusable frameworks that reduce development time and improve delivery quality. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Technical Pre-Sales Engineering 

• Create working AI-based prototypes and demonstrations within short timeframes. 
• Analyze technical documentation, APIs, and system requirements to support project scoping. 
• Prepare technical components for proposals, including architecture sketches and feasibility assessments. 
• Support the pre-sales team with technical validation and rapid solution prototyping. 

2. AI Engineering & Code Automation 

• Build AI agents capable of generating backend code, CRUD modules, API endpoints, and tests. 
• Develop AI-driven tools that automate common engineering tasks (authentication modules, integrations, data models). 
• Implement agent workflows using modern LLM frameworks. 

3. Product & Platform Development 

• Develop AI components for internal and client-facing software products. 
• Integrate external APIs, SDKs, and LLM providers into backend services. 
• Build scalable microservices, pipelines, and orchestration logic. 

4. Software Engineering & Infrastructure 

• Develop backend services using Python or Node.js. 
• Work with SQL databases, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Collaborate with technical leads on architecture decisions and system design. 

Required Skills 

• Strong knowledge of Python or Node.js (production level). 
• Experience with LLM frameworks 
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Claude, or similar AI APIs. 
• Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication flows, and integration patterns. 
• Experience with SQL databases and data modeling. 
• Familiarity with Docker and Git-based workflows. 
• Ability to build proof-of-concept solutions within limited time. 

Nice-to-Have Skills 

• Experience with FastAPI or NestJS. 
• Knowledge of vector databases. 
• Experience with embeddings, retrieval systems, and agents orchestration. 
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts. 
• Experience developing SaaS platforms.
