Adobe Commerce Technical Architect Offline

We’re looking for a senior Adobe Commerce Technical Architect to lead architecture and technical delivery across complex eCommerce projects. Strong Azure experience is required; Shopify experience — a plus, not mandatory.

What You Will Do 🚀

• Lead the design of application, integration, and data architectures for Adobe Commerce solutions.
• Prepare architecture documentation and technical specifications for development teams.
• Run technical workshops and communicate design decisions directly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors on integrations and cross-system designs.
• Evaluate risks, propose alternative solutions when necessary, and ensure technical feasibility.
• Estimate delivery effort for large-scale implementations and support go-live planning.
• Oversee technical delivery quality: performance, scalability, security, and code standards.
• Mentor other architects and senior engineers.
• Keep track of platform updates, cloud innovations, and recommend improvements.
   

What We Expect 💼

• Deep experience in Adobe Commerce / Magento at the architectural level.
• Strong hands-on background in application architecture, integrations, PHP, and enterprise eCommerce solutions.
• Strong Azure experience is required.
• Experience with Shopify is a plus, but not mandatory if Azure expertise is strong.
• Solid understanding of modern architectural approaches: microservices, modular design, cloud-native patterns.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, performance optimisation, caching, security, client-server architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and work in a client-facing environment.

• Adobe Commerce Architect or Developer (Expert) certifications
• Experience with: Elasticsearch, Redis, Varnish, RabbitMQ
