Full-Stack TypeScript / AI Engineer to $4000 Offline

We’re a European B2B SaaS company expanding our engineering team with a senior full-stack TypeScript engineer to lead a new AI-focused initiative. You’ll work closely with tech leadership, own critical backend components, and ship production-ready features across the stack.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable services and UIs in TypeScript (React on the frontend, Next.js or NestJS on the backend), integrating AI models. The role is hands-on, with a strong emphasis on backend architecture, data flows, and cloud infrastructure, while still being comfortable building clean, usable frontends. 

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable TypeScript codebases across frontend (React) and backend (Next.js or NestJS).
• Build secure, well-structured REST APIs and document them using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Design and integrate AI workflows, including LLM-based components
• Use modern AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and a focus on type safety and maintainable code.
• Solid experience building modern frontends with React.
• Proven experience with backend services in Next.js or NestJS, including API design and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Full-stack mindset: comfortable moving between frontend, backend, and a bit of DevOps, with deeper strength on the backend.
• Familiarity with AWS services and Infrastructure
• Good understanding of CI/CD principles
• Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot or equivalent) in daily work
