- Lead and coordinate indirect tax compliance processes across the Group, overseeing the work of the internal team and external advisors who prepare and submit tax returns, and ensuring high-quality reporting and timely submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Drive indirect tax expansion into new markets, including scoping of tax obligations, registrations, and implementation of scalable reporting processes together with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Oversee indirect tax research across jurisdictions, reviewing analyses prepared by the team and external consultants, validating conclusions, and translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions for the business.
- Monitor regulatory developments in key jurisdictions and assess their impact on SKELAR’s global operations, coordinating necessary changes in processes and reporting.
- Mentor and support team members, contributing to the development and scaling of the indirect tax function within SKELAR.
Skills and experience needed to join the board:
- 3+ years of experience in tax in Big 4 / second-tier consulting firms or international companies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
- Structured thinking and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain and defend tax positions with stakeholders.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to own projects and drive change.
