Backend Node.js/Nest.js Developer (HOT)

We’re looking for a Backend Node.js/Nest.js Developer with 3-5 years of commercial experience to join our team. You’ll work on developing a modern EHR/EMR web application, healthcare, legacy + new modules/components. Familiarity with AI development tools like Cursor AI, Claude, or similar is required.

You must be confident in what you're doing and ready to challenge. Previous experience in Healthcare app development is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side code using Node.js/Nest.js;
• Develop back-end components to improve the responsiveness and overall performance of the applications;
• Implement security and data protection solutions;
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability;
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features;
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization;

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Nest.js (TypeScript);
• PostgreSQL;
• Prisma ORM;
• Redis (nice to have);
• Authentication frameworks - Experience building APIs for healthcare software

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle challenges with innovative solutions;
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders;
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering clear and precise code that is well-documented;

Terms of Cooperation:

• Location: Ukraine (remote);
• Schedule: Flexible, starting between 8:00–11:00, with an 8-hour workday;
• Paid trial period: 1–2 months;
• Compensation: It depends on experience and skills. We are young and open to discussing adequate ranges only;
• Vacation: 20 days;
