Tableau Developer

Job Description
 

We are looking for a proactive Tableau Developer to join our BI team.
Your main goal will be to transform raw data into meaningful insights through effective data visualizations and well-designed dashboards and reports.
You will work closely with BI team specialists, understand their needs, and translate them into robust BI solutions that support decision-making across the company.
 

Responsibilities
 

• Communicate with BI team specialists to gather, clarify, and translate requirements into BI solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports (Tableau Desktop / Server / Cloud) with a strong focus on data accuracy, performance, and user experience.
• Select and propose the most effective type of visualization to solve the analytical task and represent data clearly.
• Validate calculations and logic on raw data.
• Ensure visual and UX consistency across all BI assets.
• Optimize workbook performance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Product teams to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Create documentation for dashboard usage and best practices.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and suggest best practices for visualization and BI processes.
   

Requirements
 

• Strong practical knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud
• Understanding of general BI principles, data modeling and UX design.
• Experience using custom SQL, LOD expressions, and parameters.
• Confident writing SQL queries (experience with Google BigQuery is a strong plus).
• Experience working with data extracts and performance tuning.
• Attention to detail and ability to validate results independently.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to solving problems.
• English — *Intermediate (B1) or higher.
   

Nice to have
 

• Experience administering or publishing to Tableau Server.
• Official Tableau Certification (Desktop Specialist / Tableau Data Analyst).
• Portfolio on Tableau Public showcasing previous or demo dashboards.
• Experience with tabcmd, Git.
