Schedule: role involves software upgrades during UK night hours with typically four nights per week:

-12 AM to 5 AM (2 AM - 7 AM Kyiv time), Monday to Thursday

It is not full-time job as the load is not constant, it could run for weeks or even months, with potential gaps of one or two months between upgrade rounds.

Candidate will provide support for software deployments, software upgrades, network upgrades and assisting in the issue resolution.

Department/Project Description

The end client is broadband ISP in UK (GPON, FTTH, FTTB). Client uses a cloud-based system (Network Management NMS / Element Management System EMS) for for monitoring and managing Optical Fiber Network Devices (Network Elements NE), such as OLT (Optical Line Terminal), ONT, CPE by different vendors (i.e. Adtran SDX OLT, DZS OLT V6, Nokia etc.).
Our client has developed NMS/EMS system and set of Plugins that are designed to integrate new devices into optical fiber network. Plugin also allows to use the third party devices on this NMS.

Besides regular delelompemnt work for NMS and plugins, we plan to open support service for the client with new network software deployment, software upgrades, network upgrades etc.
