Project Manager / Coordinator

We’re looking for a Project Manager / Coordinator to help us support and scale several internal platforms for a long-term client in the fintech and digital payments domain.

These platforms handle essential business operations — payments, integrations, analytics, and marketing automation. They’re the backbone of the client’s business, even if end users never see them.

Umber owns the full delivery cycle — from analysis and development to testing and release.
Right now, the CTO and CEO are still managing daily tasks, priorities, and client communication on top of their core work, and it’s clearly too much.
That’s why we’re opening this role — to bring in someone who’ll help organize, streamline, and gradually take ownership of several projects.

What you’ll do

• Take over communication with external partners and providers — gather technical details, coordinate integration steps, track statuses, and test connections with developers.
• Maintain and organize task tracking in ClickUp (Kanban), keeping statuses and priorities up to date.
• Monitor progress, follow up on blockers, and make sure the team and client stay aligned.
• Support the CTO in managing priorities across multiple projects.
• Gradually take full ownership of one or two delivery streams.
• Prepare concise internal and client updates on status, next steps, and dependencies.

You’ll work directly with the CTO, developers, and client representatives, mostly through written communication in English.

Who you are

• Strong Junior or Middle PM/Coordinator, 2–3 years of relevant experience (flexible).
• Confident written English — clear, structured communication is key.
• Understanding of software delivery processes: dependencies, estimates, testing, releases.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Experienced with ClickUp or similar tools (Jira, Trello, etc.).
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable — you keep things moving and visible.
• Calm and communicative — you can follow up without pressure and keep context in sync.
• Open, transparent, and focused on practical results, not bureaucracy.
