Job Description

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant commercial experience
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments
• Proven track record with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance
• Strong systems thinking and architectural design skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ message brokers
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and methodologies
• Familiarity with ArgoCD for GitOps workflows
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Helm for Kubernetes package management

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code: Migrate existing infrastructure to Terraform modules and enhance current modules using industry best practices and modern architectural patterns
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain GitHub Actions workflows to streamline deployment processes across multiple teams
• Kubernetes Operations: Manage and optimize multiple Amazon EKS clusters, including all cluster components, workloads, and related infrastructure
• Architecture & Design: Independently design and propose infrastructure architectures with a systems-thinking approach, considering scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with development teams to understand requirements and deliver infrastructure solutions that enable rapid, reliable feature delivery
• Cloud SRE Leadership: Serve as an active contributor to our Cloud SRE initiative, helping establish reliability practices and operational excellence standards
