About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Desktop Developer to provide hands-on consulting and development for our voice-to-action automation platform. You’ll collaborate directly with our CTO to solve complex system-level challenges and help accelerate our product development.
 

Required Experience

• macOS Development: Objective-C and/or Swift with native API experience
• .NET Desktop: WinForms and WPF for Windows applications
• System-Level Programming: Audio capture, process monitoring, and OS integrations

• Cross-Platform Architecture: Building and maintaining apps for both Windows and macOS

   

Key Technical Challenges

• Implementing device-level audio recording (VoIP-agnostic)
• Real-time audio processing with minimal latency
• Detecting active applications and system state
• Native OS integrations (permissions, notifications, background processes)

• Building performant, stable desktop applications

• Ability to dive into existing codebases and provide immediate value
• Experience with native modules and system APIs
• Strong architectural decision-making skills
• Clear communicator who can mentor our CTO

• Pragmatic problem-solver focused on shipping

• Electron or similar cross-platform framework experience
• Audio/video processing applications
• Real-time data processing pipelines
• Experience with AI/ML integration in desktop apps
