Application Builder (Palantir Foundry) Offline

We are seeking an Application Builder to create user-facing solutions and applications on Palantir Foundry within the real estate and investment management domain. In this role, you will design and develop workflows, dashboards, and applications that help business users interact with data in intuitive and effective ways. You’ll work closely with product managers, data engineers, and analysts to turn requirements into practical applications that deliver real business impact.

About the role

As an Application Builder, you’ll be responsible for developing Foundry applications that bring together data models, visualizations, and business logic into user-friendly experiences. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows, translate them into app designs, and implement scalable solutions that improve reporting, decision-making, and operational efficiency. By combining technical skills with a focus on usability, you’ll ensure that Foundry applications effectively support the client’s real estate, accounting, and reporting needs.

Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the full software development life-cycle
• Proficient in JavaScript and Typescript, Python is a plus;
• Proficient with SQL Databases, NoSQL is a plus;
• Skilled with cloud technologies (at least one AWS, Azure, GCP);
• Experienced in Palantir Foundry for building applications using AIP Studio, Slate, Workshop, Machinery, Solution Designer, Contour, Quiver, Vertex, Walkthroughs, OSDK; 
• Demonstrated expertise in writing Tests (the whole test pyramid: unit/integration/end-to-end);
• Understanding the Real estate industry domain specifics and integrations with ERP data are a plus;
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills for debugging complex systems;
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of features from scratch, including discovery work, analysis of external APIs (if involved), implementation (cloud and/or backend and/or UI), documentation, and test coverage;
• Building applications using Palantir Foundry platform
• Working closely with the tech lead and project manager to fully understand the implementation requirements and the business problems being addressed;
• Adhering to our internal documentation culture. Writing an informative description for each PR, keeping internal documentation up-to-date, and leaving informative comments in code;
• Being involved in decision-making, sharing ideas and vision on how to improve the system.
• Collaborate closely with the team members and other stakeholders;
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers;
