About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced WordPress Web Developer to bring our new website design to life. The design is already complete — your role will be to implement it accurately and efficiently in WordPress using Tailwind CSS. The design is fairly sophisticated, we have a VERY high bar of quality when it comes to smoothness of interactions and such.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert Figma (or similar) design files into a fully responsive WordPress website.
  • Implement the front end using Tailwind CSS for clean, scalable styling.
  • Ensure pixel-perfect execution and consistent design fidelity.
  • Optimize the site for speed, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Set up custom post types, dynamic content, and reusable components where needed.
  • Collaborate with our internal team for feedback, QA, and launch.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience developing custom WordPress websites.
  • Strong proficiency in Tailwind CSS (must-have). Comfortable with Wordpress Bedrock.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience translating Figma designs into responsive WordPress pages.
  • Understanding of performance optimization, SEO fundamentals, and accessibility best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and code quality.
  • Portfolio required — please include links to past WordPress projects you’ve built or contributed to.

Project Details:

  • Website design and assets are ready.
  • Timeline: ~2 weeks. If you do well, more work in future.
  • Remote / Contract role.

If you’re detail-oriented, care about performance and security, and know how to make WordPress sites both beautiful and robust — we’d love to see your work.
