โœจ About the Role

 

We are searching for a talented and passionate 2D Artist (casual, Playrix / Disney style) to join our team. You will be responsible for translating creative concepts and design briefs into compelling, high-quality visual assets that define the look and feel of our games. This role demands strong foundational art skills, versatility across different visual styles, and a collaborative spirit to work with designers and developers through the entire production pipeline.

 

๐ŸŒŸ Key Responsibilities

 

Art Production & Design

 

  • Create a diverse range of 2D art assets, including:
    • Characters and character portraits (concept, line art, and final render / Playrix / Disney style).
    • Environments and backgrounds that set the mood and atmosphere of the game world.
    • Props, items, icons, and collectables that are clear and visually appealing.
  • Design and illustrate marketing materials, promotional art, and key visuals (e.g., app store screenshots, splash screens).
  • Develop concept art and initial sketches to establish the visual direction and style guides for new projects.
  • Ensure all artwork adheres to the established art style, technical specifications, and production deadlines.
  • User Interface (UI) Creation: Design functional and aesthetically pleasing UI elements (buttons, menus, HUDs) in collaboration with the UI/UX team.

 

Collaboration & Technical Execution

 

  • Collaborate closely with the art director and animators to ensure the art assets support gameplay mechanics and narrative themes.
  • Efficiently prepare, export, and optimize 2D graphics (e.g., sprite sheets, atlases) for integration into the game engine (e.g., Unity/Unreal).
  • Receive and proactively implement feedback in a constructive and timely manner.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality, consistency, and technical accuracy across all deliverables.

 

โœ… Essential Requirements

 

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a 2D artist in the game development industry.
  • Expert proficiency in industry-standard software, primarily Adobe Photoshop and a graphic tablet.
  • Strong foundational art skills: Deep understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, perspective, and human/animal anatomy.
  • Proven ability to work in at least one defined style (e.g., casual, stylized, semi-realistic) with a portfolio to demonstrate versatility.
  • Experience in creating game-ready assets and an understanding of the technical art pipeline.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate artistic decisions clearly.

 

โž• Desirable Skills (Will be a Strong Plus)

 

  • Familiarity with modern creative workflows, including the use of AI generation tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion) for concepting and ideation.
  • Proficiency in vector graphics software (Adobe Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  • Experience with basic 3D software (e.g., Blender) to assist with concept rendering or asset-based creation.
