Team Lead Retargeting (SSP/DSP)

We’re looking for a Team Lead Retargeting (SSP/DSP) to strengthen our performance marketing direction and scale retargeting operations across international and CIS markets.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional who combines deep technical knowledge of programmatic platforms with the ability to manage a team, optimize performance, and drive measurable ROI growth.
You’ll be leading a team of experienced media buyers, building and executing data-driven retargeting strategies, and collaborating with other acquisition and product units to maximize value from every traffic source.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5+ media buyers within the retargeting stream.
  • Manage and optimize retargeting campaigns across DSP/SSP platforms.
  • Handle technical integrations (pixels, postbacks, S2S, feeds).
  • Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies for different GEOs (EU, CIS, LATAM).
  • Oversee the creative process — from briefs to testing and scaling.
  • Monitor performance metrics (ROI, CPL, CPA, ARPU) and prepare regular reports.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Analytics teams to enhance results through insights and automation.
  • Stay updated on programmatic trends, traffic sources, and platform algorithms.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in retargeting / programmatic / SSP-DSP traffic buying.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring a performance or retargeting team.
  • Strong understanding of tracking, analytics, and attribution systems.
  • Hands-on experience with S2S integrations, pixels, and postback setups.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Advanced English (C1+) — both written and spoken.
  • Experience with EU and CIS markets (Tier 1 experience will be a plus).

First 3-Month Goals:

  • Audit and optimize all active retargeting campaigns and technical setups.
  • Launch and scale new retargeting flows with clear ROI and growth metrics.
  • Build a high-performing team and implement structured reporting standards.
