Regular DevOps Engineer Offline

Project Description:

This project aims to improve the automated environment and deployments application in order to render it faster and more flexible for development teams.

At first step we would expect DevOps engineer to participate in creation of deployment framework for Development teams using Chef, Vagrant, Dockers and other tools.

Responsibilities:

DevOps Engineer responsibilities:

- Automation of Environment deployment;

- Configuration Management for source control, bug tracking systems, knowledge bases etc.;

- Environments Management;

- Deployments.

Mandatory Skills:

An ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of:

- System Scripting: Bash (3+ years) and Python or Ruby (1+ years)

- Operation systems: Unix

- Web Servers, one of following: Apache, Tomcat, Jetty

- Control version systems: Git

- CI tools: Bamboo, TeamCity or Jenkins

- Development tools: Eclipse or Idea IntelliJ

- Framework: Kubernetes

She/he should also be comfortable with:

Operational and support activities

Virtualization technologies

Cloud technologies

Methodologies: Agile/Scrum

Tracking and collaboration software: Jira, Confluence

Nice-to-Have Skills: Burk shelf or other framework for Chef recipes, Test Kitchen
