Critical Requirements

* Proven and successful experience in Data Analytics for over 2 years, including at least 2+ years in leadership roles (Lead)

* Deep understanding of the gambling industry, preferably with experience in online casinos

* Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools

* Knowledge of Data Engineering fundamentals and data architectures (ETL processes, DWH)

* Involvement in implementing A/B testing systems and familiarity with Growth methodologies

* Experience in dashboarding and reporting for C-Level and departments such as product, marketing, finance, VIP, and support.

* Strong analytical thinking, strategic mindset, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, clearly communicate insights and data-driven recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.

* Proven experience in setting analytical priorities, roadmap planning, and aligning analytics strategy with business objectives.

* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business insights.

* Experience in building and maintaining analytical infrastructure in collaboration with data engineering teams.

* Familiarity with predictive analytics, machine learning applications, and automation of analytical workflows is a plus.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach and readiness to dive into data when necessary.


Functional Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the company’s data and analytics strategy.

* Build and maintain a scalable analytics ecosystem based on Databricks (or other DWH), PySpark, Airflow, and Power BI.

* Lead and coordinate the analytics team across product, marketing, finance, customer care, and web domains.

* Review analytical requests, set priorities, and manage workload distribution within the team.

* Design, optimize, and document data models and ETL/ELT pipelines in collaboration with Data Engineering.

* Ensure data quality, metric transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Develop and maintain a unified business metric dictionary and implement systems for data validation, versioning, and quality control.

* Build and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards for executive and operational decision-making.

* Define and track key performance indicators to monitor business health and team efficiency.

* Provide analytical support and actionable insights for business strategy, marketing, finance, and product development.

* Build predictive models (e.g., churn, VIP detection, fraud) and support experimentation through A/B testing and growth frameworks.

* Present insights, trends, and forecasts to C-level management, influencing strategic decision-making.

* Drive standardization, automation, and scalability across all analytics processes.

* Mentor analysts, promote data-driven culture, and ensure continuous improvement in analytical practices.


To achieve the results you’ll need:

* SQL

* Python or R, or Scala

* BI tools (preferably Power BI or Tableau)

* good understanding of statistics, probability theory, economic and mathematical analysis

* Experience in gambling


 

What will you do?

* Building an analytics system from scratch for a new gambling product (product, marketing, finance).

* Regularly searching for insights in the data and forming product and marketing hypotheses based on them.

* Conducting and evaluating A/B tests to support management decisions.

* Automating ad-hoc analytical queries.

* Cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, CRM, and IT teams.

* Defining technical requirements for the development team to create the necessary databases for conducting analytics.
