About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional AI Agent Creator to join our founding team and revolutionize how we operate. As a core member of our lean startup, you'll design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents that automate and enhance our marketing, sales, and operational functions. This isn't just about implementing tools—it's about architecting the AI-native infrastructure that will become our competitive advantage.

You'll work directly with founders to identify high-impact automation opportunities, build sophisticated agent workflows, and create systems that let our small team punch well above our weight. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution—you'll be as comfortable discussing ROI with leadership as you are coding agentic workflows and fine-tuning prompts.

What You'll Build

Marketing Agents

• Content generation agents for blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and ad copy
• SEO optimization and keyword research automation
• Audience research and persona development systems
• Automated A/B testing and performance analysis
• Campaign planning and strategy recommendation agents

Sales Agents

• Lead ROI calculation & report
• Lead qualification and enrichment pipelines
• Personalized outreach generation at scale
• Meeting preparation and research assistants
• CRM data analysis and opportunity scoring
• Follow-up automation and pipeline management
• Proposal and pitch deck generation assistants

Operational Agents

• Document processing and data extraction workflows
• Customer support triage and response automation
• Internal knowledge base and documentation systems
• Workflow orchestration across tools and platforms
• Reporting and analytics dashboards with natural language querying
• Process optimization and bottleneck identification agents

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic AI Architecture: Partner with founders to identify the highest-leverage automation opportunities across the business
• Agent Development: Design, build, test, and deploy AI agents using leading frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar)
• Integration & Orchestration: Connect agents to our existing tech stack and ensure seamless workflows across systems
• Prompt Engineering: Craft, optimize, and iterate on prompts to maximize agent performance and reliability
• Performance Monitoring: Implement tracking, logging, and evaluation systems to continuously improve agent outputs
• Team Enablement: Create documentation, training materials, and tools that empower the entire team to leverage AI effectively
• Innovation & Experimentation: Stay at the forefront of AI/LLM developments and rapidly prototype new capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python (primary) and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience building AI agents, LLM applications, or autonomous systems
• Deep understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, and best practices
• Experience with major LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) and agentic frameworks
• Proficiency with API integrations, webhooks, and workflow automation tools
• Track record of shipping production-grade software or automation systems
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguity
• Startup mindset: scrappy, resourceful, bias for action, comfortable with rapid iteration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in early-stage startups or founding teams
• Background in marketing, sales operations, or business processes
• Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector databases
• Experience with fine-tuning or training smaller specialized models
• Understanding of AI safety, hallucination mitigation, and evaluation frameworks
• DevOps and cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Open source contributions or public portfolio of AI projects

The Interview Process

• Initial Call (30 min): Culture fit and high-level technical discussion
• Technical Deep Dive (60 min): Review your past projects and discuss AI agent architecture
• Take-Home Project (3-5 hours): Build a small agent that solves a real problem we're facing (paid, of course)
