🌙 Application Support Engineer (Night Shift)

We’re looking for a technically savvy Application Support Engineer to join our global remote team and ensure our web applications run flawlessly overnight.
You’ll be the person keeping things stable while others sleep — ensuring uptime, reliability, and smooth handover to the engineering team every morning.
 

🕓 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 23:00–07:00 (GMT+3)
🌍 Location: Remote
 

🚀 What you’ll do:

• Monitor and maintain application performance, uptime, and cloud services health
• Respond to alerts and user tickets via chat, email, or ticketing tools
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-level or app-level issues (no coding required)
• Escalate critical incidents to engineers and document resolutions
• Perform nightly checks on AWS and databases (PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, etc.)
• Keep detailed incident logs and improve internal knowledge base
   

🧠 What we’re looking for:

• English: Upper-Intermediate+ for clear written & spoken communication
• Experience: 6+ months in a technical support, QA, or DevOps-related role
  (or completed technical courses/bootcamps in Python, Django, AWS, or Databases)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
  • REST APIs, HTTP, Linux, Git basics
  • Cloud fundamentals (AWS preferred)
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently during night shifts

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, or cloud monitoring tools (Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Understanding of web app security & performance principles
• Background in Agile or startup environments
