PHP Developer (PrestaShop Developer)

We are a dynamic and innovative software team developing advanced e-commerce solutions. Currently, we are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong expertise in PrestaShop to join our project focused on building and integrating custom plugins for payment systems across major e-commerce platforms.
 

Requirements
 

• Solid PHP expertise and confident understanding of OOP principles and modern PHP practices.
• Proven commercial experience with PrestaShop — module development, customization, and payment integrations.
• Experience with other platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, or OpenCart is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, REST APIs, and secure payment transaction flows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Intermediate English (B1) and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment.
   

Nice to Have
 

• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS standards and payment system security practices.
• Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JS) for plugin UI customization.
   

Responsibilities
 

• Develop and maintain custom payment plugins for PrestaShop (as the primary platform) and assist with integrations for WooCommerce, Magento, or OpenCart when needed.
• Implement integrations with third-party payment service providers (PSPs) ensuring smooth and secure payment processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA, and developers to deliver features on time and with high code quality.
• Debug, maintain, and optimize existing PrestaShop modules.
• Prepare technical documentation and developer handoff materials.
