Marketing Operations Lead (IT-related)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Marketing Operations Lead to drive the efficiency, scalability, and performance of our marketing organization. This role is critical in ensuring that all marketing processes, tools, and systems are optimized to support sustainable lead generation, customer retention, and cross-functional alignment.

The ideal candidate will bring a systems-oriented mindset, deep understanding of marketing technologies, and a strong ability to execute agile frameworks. You will collaborate with multiple departments, implement automation strategies, streamline workflows, and deliver actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. This is a senior, hands-on role at the intersection of marketing, operations, and technology.
 

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Research

• Evaluate and recommend marketing technologies, tools, and processes for improvement.

• Conduct user research across marketing and business units to gather insights for tool development and process enhancements.

• Map the full customer journey, including all touchpoints and associated technology stacks.

 

Process Optimization & Development

• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions across departments.

• Lead the development or integration of software tools that enhance marketing workflows.

• Implement and optimize CRM systems and marketing automation workflows.
 

Analytics & Reporting

• Configure and manage marketing analytics platforms for accurate performance tracking.

• Design and maintain automated, real-time reporting systems to support strategy and operations.

• Ensure data reliability and clarity to guide tactical and strategic decisions.
 

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

• Maintain continuous communication with departments to identify and address bottlenecks.

• Align marketing operations with broader organizational processes and goals.

• Coordinate the planning and allocation of internal and external resources.

Knowledge Management & Enablement

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all marketing tools and systems.

• Develop training materials, user guides, and tutorials to ensure successful adoption of technologies.

• Build and manage a centralized knowledge base for processes and technical assets.
 

Technology & Asset Management

• Oversee marketing infrastructure including domains, hosting, VOIP systems, listings, and access credentials.

• Maintain and monitor system integrations for consistency, compatibility, and efficiency.

• Serve as the primary contact for technology-related marketing issues and resource administration.
 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience in marketing operations, growth marketing, or technical project management.

• Strong technical proficiency with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and marketing automation tools.

• Experience with agile methodologies and systems thinking.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to drive projects from concept to completion.

• Deep understanding of marketing performance metrics and growth frameworks (e.g., AAARRR).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
