Jira Process Improvement Manager $$$ Offline
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jira Process Improvement Manager to join our team in Valencia, Spain. You will serve as a strategic partner to business units, driving process optimization, promoting best practices, and ensuring Jira tools and workflows effectively support organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
βοΈJira Administration:
- Manage and maintain Jira (Data Center version), ensuring system stability and performance.
- Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, schemes, permissions, and dashboards.
- Perform routine audits and implement best practices for Jira administration.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and incidents in Jira.
βοΈ Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Analyze existing Jira processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement optimized workflows, automation rules, and custom solutions within Jira.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and propose effective Jira-based solutions.
Ensure process changes align with organizational objectives and add measurable value.
βοΈ Solution Design & Implementation:
- Act as a consultant for teams, offering tailored Jira solutions for specific project and process needs.
- Design and implement new Jira functionalities to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions and lead the rollout of new features.
Integrate Jira with other tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket) to enhance cross-platform workflows.
βοΈ Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with business teams to gather requirements and align Jira solutions with goals.
- Provide support and training to end-users to ensure effective use of Jira tools and processes.
Facilitate workshops and sessions to demonstrate new features and gather feedback.
βοΈ Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for Jira configurations, processes, and best practices.
Create and share reports and dashboards that visualize Jira metrics and process performance.
βοΈ Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay updated on Jira advancements, plugins, and best practices to introduce innovative solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and assess how new features or tools can be adopted to enhance Jira usage.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by collecting feedback and refining processes.
β Requirements:
βοΈ Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
βοΈ Jira Administration: Strong expertise in Jira (Data Center version), including configuration, customization, and maintenance.
βοΈ Tool Integration: Experience integrating Jira with Confluence, Bitbucket, and external systems.
βοΈ Automation & Scripting: Knowledge of Automation for Jira, Scriptrunner, and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python).
βοΈ Analytical & Problem Solving: Ability to assess processes, identify issues, and implement solutions.
βοΈ Communication: Strong English (written and spoken), capable of translating technical solutions to business stakeholders.
βοΈ Project Management: Experience managing multiple tasks and aligning solutions with business needs.
βοΈ Consultative Approach: Proactive in proposing and implementing process improvements.
βοΈ Facilitation & Training: Ability to guide teams through new processes and tools.
