Middle System Administrator

We’re looking for a Middle System Administrator to join Mind Studios  a product-oriented software development company that builds web and mobile solutions from scratch.

This role combines classic SysAdmin responsibilities with a focus on information security. You’ll maintain and optimize our infrastructure while helping the company prepare for ISO 27001 certification.

In this role, you will:

— Manage and maintain servers, networks, laptops and cloud infrastructure (AWS/OVH/Hetzner);
— Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and system performance strategies;
— Control access management and user permissions according to security policies;
— Support vulnerability scanning and patch management processes;
— Participate in implementing information security practices and policies;
— Assist in preparing documentation for ISO 27001 certification audits;
— Troubleshoot system and network issues and provide technical support to internal teams.

What’s important to join us:
— 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role;
— Understanding the basic aspects of information security and network components (firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs);
— Knowledge of MacOS at the administrator level;
— Basic knowledge of remote desktops and the principles of the thin clients;
— Experience with the structured cabling (patch cord termination, etc);
— Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and network administration;
— Hands-on experience with virtualization or cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure);
— Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (network security, endpoint protection, access control);
— Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.);
— Intermediate and higher english for reading technical documentation and internal communication.

Nice to have:

— Experience supporting ISO 27001 or other security certification processes;
— Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools or SIEM systems;
— Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell);
— Experience with automation tools (Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or similar);
— Experience working in an ISO-compliant or regulated IT environment.
