Senior Full Stack Developer – Startup Environment Offline

At Salvato, we’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our growing product team.

This is not a management position.

We’re a fast-moving startup where every engineer writes code, makes decisions, and directly shapes the product.

We’re looking for a hands-on developer — someone who can dive into the codebase, ship features, and improve both backend and frontend systems with a sense of ownership and speed.
You’ll work across the stack: from designing APIs and database schemas to building React-based interfaces and improving user experience.

Salvato is a U.S.-based startup co-founded by a Ukrainian entrepreneur.

We’re building a next-generation online auction platform for damaged vehicles, designed for insurance companies in the U.S.

We are a modern alternative to Copart and IAA — with faster processes, lower fees, better transparency, and a more modern technical stack.

We actively integrate with third-party services to speed up workflows and improve collaboration across the ecosystem.


What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems.

• Design APIs and integrate third-party services.

• Optimize database structure, queries, and indexing.

• Build modern user interfaces with React and Next.js.

• Ensure smooth interaction between frontend and backend.

• Participate in infrastructure, deployment, and CI/CD processes.

• Work with caching, asynchronous flows, and high-load scenarios.

• Follow best practices in engineering, security, and code quality.

 

What We Expect

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express, NestJS, or Koa.
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Deep knowledge of React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of DevOps, containerization, and Docker.
• Experience with NATS, Redis, or Kafka is a plus, not a requirement.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, caching, async processing, and common auth methods (JWT, OAuth).
• Awareness of web security best practices (OWASP, data protection).
• Startup mindset — you write code, move fast, and deliver impact.
