Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join a long-term project in the insurance domain. The role requires strong backend expertise, architectural mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Project details:

• Industry: Insurance
• Client: Established EU partner (5+ years of cooperation, 10+ active projects)
• Format: Remote, full-time (8h/day)
• Start: November 2025
• Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension)

• Process: 1 interview with our partners + 1–2 interviews with the end client

   

Requirements:

• 7+ years of backend development experience
• 4+ years with Ruby on Rails
• Strong understanding of backend architecture & HTTP protocols
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Cloud experience (AWS) is a plus
• Strong English communication skills
• Must be EU-based
