Lead Product Designer

As the UX/UI Leader Designer, you will play a key role in expanding and guiding the overall direction of our design team. In this role, you are a player-coach, excited to roll up your sleeves with your own deliverables, while delegating work to other designers, ensuring that all UX/UI meet and exceed our company’s quality and brand standards, on time and within budget.

Having UX/UI design experience with enterprise SaaS solutions such as retail telecom, payment systems, point of sale, ERP, or warehouse/fulfillment systems is a must.

 

Requirements:

  • Business System/Business Analyst or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years working in a disciplined product management capacity, specifically for enterprise SaaS solutions
  • 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of experience with an advanced design systems based on design tokens
  • Experience in Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Experience in working within a matrixed environment
  • Experience in designing Enterprise SaaS solutions, preferably in telecom, retail, supply chain, or wholesale industries
  • Experience identifying and prioritizing business needs via qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, business analysts, sales, marketing, executive sponsorship and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing products in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal leaders as well as external customers

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish creative design framework and practices that ensure all content and deliverables meet brand and quality standards and guidelines
  • Manage the design of enterprise SaaS solutions that delight users, exceed expectations, and achieve business requirements
  • Oversee initiative lifecycles from conceptualization through delivery, ensuring success
  • Design user experiences to translate complex workflows into UX/UI concepts that are intuitive and delight our users, owning the process from the early stage through successful measured delivery
  • Perform experiments with a cross-functional team and shape our user experience strategy by collecting data and insights that drive the best UX
  • Manage a small team of UX/UI designers in the day-to-day performance of their jobs, working together as a team to autonomously, but collaboratively deliver superior results
  • Lead and influence discussions relative to the current user experience and the future direction of design and user experience
  • Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups with detailed and scalable visual design specifications for Enterprise SaaS and mobile interfaces throughout the design process
  • Lead research and evaluation of emerging design, technology, industry, and market trends
  • Lead the design planning and strategic phases of a project, proactively pitching new UX ideas backed by a strong, well-articulated rationale
  • Independently deliver design solutions for problems of large scope and complexity, work through ambiguity, and adapt your approach to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders
