Junior Life Science Analyst

Overview

As a Life Science Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to conducting Life Science and market research within high-tech economic sectors. You will be responsible for in-depth market analysis, identifying trends, risks, and competitive strategies, and supporting cross-functional teams with research-driven insights. Your work will directly contribute to strategic decision-making and help shape initiatives in biotech, healthtech, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research to monitor and analyze life science markets and related high-tech industries, providing actionable insights on trends, opportunities, and risks.
  2. Analyze large datasets using statistical tools and Life Science platforms to identify patterns, forecast market developments, and assess potential risks.
  3. Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, decks, and business plans based on research and competitive analysis, presenting complex insights in a clear and compelling way.
  4. Collaborate with finance, marketing, and product development teams to integrate research findings into company strategies and operations.
  5. Perform competitor analysis within the life sciences sector, including SWOT analysis, to support competitive positioning and strategy development.
  6. Utilize AI tools and technologies to process large datasets more efficiently and improve the accuracy of research results.
  7. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for adjustments in response to market and competitor changes.
  8. Apply OSINT methodologies and tools (such as Bellingcat) to gather and analyze publicly available information, supporting market and competitor research.

     

Required Qualifications

  1. Knowledge and experience in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) methodologies.
  2. English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong writing and presentation skills.
  3. Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and analytical tools relevant to life sciences and high-tech sectors.
  4. Understanding of BioTech, HealthTech, MedTech, or business analytics (a significant advantage).
  5. Experience working with large datasets and statistical information, with familiarity in AI tools for market research and analysis.
  6. Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides for creating reports, presentations, and data visualization.

     

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
  2. Previous experience in market research or analytical roles within high-tech or scientific sectors.
  3. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality analytical outputs and insights.
