PHP Developer

We are a dynamic and innovative software team developing advanced e-commerce solutions. Currently we are seeking talented PHP Developers to join a project focused on creating and integrating custom plugins for payment systems across multiple popular e-commerce platforms.
 

Requirements

• Strong PHP expertise and confident knowledge of OOP and modern PHP practices.
• Proven commercial experience with: WooCommerce (WordPress 5+ is mandatory due to specific technical nuances), Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop.
• Experience in developing and integrating custom plugins, preferably for payment gateways.
• Solid understanding of MySQL, REST APIs, and secure transaction flows.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance and best practices for handling payments.

• Basic knowledge of front-end (HTML/CSS/JS) for plugin UI adjustments.

   

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain payment plugins for WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart, and PrestaShop.
• Integrate third-party payment service providers (PSPs) and ensure secure and seamless transactions.
• Coordinate with project managers, QA, and fellow developers on a part-time basis to deliver tasks on schedule and uphold high code quality.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations for performance and security.
• Provide technical documentation and developer handoff materials.
