Backend Developer (PHP/Laravel)

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong PHP and Laravel skills to join our team. 
This role is highly product-oriented, focused on building and improving features that directly impact our clients. 
The developer will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver scalable solutions and new functionality.

Responsibilities
 

• Develop and maintain backend services using PHP/Laravel
• Build and optimize APIs for integrations with third-party systems
• Work on queue management and background jobs to support large-scale data processing
• Collaborate with the product team to design and implement new features
• Ensure database performance, consistency, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring stability and scalability
• Contribute ideas to improve product workflows and end-user experience

Requirements
 

• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel framework
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and query optimization
• Experience with queues and job scheduling (Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS, or similar)
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of server architecture and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to think product-first

Nice to Have
 

• Experience with CRM, SaaS, or analytics platforms
• Familiarity with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to AI/ML or AutoML tools to support upcoming AI features
• Understanding of DevOps practices
