Life Science Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

 

Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct extensive research to monitor and analyze life science markets and related high-tech industries. Use this data to provide actionable insights on market trends, opportunities, and risks that can inform both strategic and operational decisions.

 

Data Analysis & Trend Forecasting:

Analyze large datasets, leveraging statistical tools and Life Science platforms to identify patterns, emerging trends, and forecast future market developments. Develop basic predictive models to forecast market dynamics and assess potential risks.

 

Strategic Presentation Development:

Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, decks, and business plans based on market research and competitive analysis. Communicate complex data-driven insights in a clear and compelling way to internal and external stakeholders.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as finance, marketing, and product development, to ensure that research insights are integrated into the company’s overall strategy. Contribute to developing and implementing strategies that align with research findings.

 

Competitor and SWOT Analysis:

Conduct competitor analysis within the life sciences sector. Perform SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) on competitor companies, providing strategic insights to help develop competitive positioning and strategies.

 

AI-Driven Analysis:

Utilize AI tools and technologies to support data analysis, identifying innovative ways to process large datasets and improve research accuracy and efficiency.

 

Strategic Monitoring and Reporting:

Continuously monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies, preparing detailed reports, and providing actionable recommendations for strategy adjustment based on market and competitor changes.

 

Open-source Intelligence (OSINT):

Apply OSINT techniques and methodologies, along with tools such as Bellingcat, to support competitive and market research. Gather and analyze information from public sources to support decision-making processes.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

OSINT Expertise:

Strong knowledge and experience in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) methodologies, with an understanding.

 

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) is essential for effective coordination between teams and the preparation of reports, presentations, and other deliverables.

 

Technological Aptitude:

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and analytical methods relevant to life sciences and high-tech sectors.

 

Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of BioTech, HealthTech, MedTech, or business analytics is a significant advantage.

 

Data Analysis Skills:

Proficiency in working with large data sets, statistical information, and AI tools to support market research and analysis processes.

 

Advanced Google Docs Proficiency:

Ability to work proficiently with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides to create reports, presentations, and complex data tables for various stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  1. Experience in life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
  2. Previous experience in Life Science or market research roles within high-tech or scientific sectors.
  3. Demonstrated success in managing and leading research teams to meet strategic goals.
