Project Manager (Grant Management)

Customer

 

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality IT products in the Swedish and Danish public sectors. They have worked with us successfully for over 12 years. Their automation solutions serve 80% of government agencies in Sweden. The company specializes in grant management, document management, enterprise content management (ECM), data sharing, digital preservation, GDPR compliance, ERP solutions, and more. They cater to various sectors, including government, banking, retail, manufacturing, and life sciences.

 

Project

 

It is a standardized framework system designed for grant management, case management, and financial control. It is intended to efficiently manage case processing and subsidy administration. The system provides a configurable framework for institution-specific solutions and can be tailored to various case processes.

 

Team composition: 2 QA Engineers and 3 Developers from Sigma Software, 1 QA Engineer, 3 Developers and Product Owner from the Customer side.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist the Product Owner define the product scope, risks, and dependencies, and maintain the roadmap with clear timelines, milestones, and capacity planning
  • Manage stakeholders and ensure effective communication with the Product Owner and the team
  • Monitor progress through Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, etc.), highlight risks or impediments, and ensure value delivery
  • Implement Agile practices, adapt them to business needs, and coach both the team and the client
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily Scrum, review, retrospective) and ensure they are valuable
  • Prepare and share progress updates, reports, and key results tailored to different stakeholders
  • Drive team retrospectives into actionable improvements, encourage adoption of Agile best practices, and nurture a culture of learning
  • Coach and mentor team members, support their professional growth, manage collaboration dynamics, and resolve conflicts
  • Take ownership of outcomes by ensuring delivery meets Customer expectations and satisfaction

     

Requirements

 

  • At least 3 years of project management experience in the IT field
  • Solid knowledge of PM best practices and approaches
  • Proven experience in people management: coaching and mentoring, conflict resolution, team motivation, and team building
  • Strong stakeholder, operational, and organizational change management skills
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Hands-on experience with Agile
  • Practical experience in risk analysis and management
  • Experience in identifying and managing opportunities.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher

 

Would be a plus

 

  • Familiarity with Azure and .NET technology stack
  • Cross-cultural awareness
  • Technical background
