About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to review and enhance our end-to-end audit processes. This role will evaluate every stage of a recovery process lifecycle — from data acquisition and processing, through audit calculation, to dispute submission and tracking — ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and document existing audit processes, including data acquisition, processing workflows, calculation methodologies, and dispute management.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks across the audit lifecycle and recommend improvements.
• Design and implement validation frameworks to verify data integrity and audit accuracy.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that audit processes align with regulatory, operational, and business requirements.
• Develop code-based validation tools (Python, SQL, or equivalent) to automate checks and analyses.
• Track, analyze, and report on disputes, providing insights to reduce recurrence and improve resolution times.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert for audits, bridging business and technical perspectives.

About You

The ideal candidate combines business acumen (understanding the “why” behind audits) with technical skills (using Python and analytics to validate and improve audit processes). They should be comfortable moving between business conversations and hands-on coding, ensuring that our audits are both accurate and defensible.

• Strong understanding of audit principles, processes, and business context.
• Proficiency in data analysis and working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Python (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter, etc.) for data validation and automation.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data querying.
• Ability to translate complex business rules into technical checks and models.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice to Have

• Background in data science, data engineering, or analytics.
• Familiarity with audit systems, compliance workflows, or financial processes.
• Knowledge of dispute management and case tracking systems.
