Financial Controller (E-Commerce)

Who are we?

M. ROSENFELD is a European E-commerce company that has been exporting its own branded products to the USA, Canada, Europe, and Japan for over 7 years. The main sales channels are Amazon and Shopify.

The company’s mission is to build a well-known high-quality hookah brand with its own hookah products.

Who are we looking for?

Due to the expansion of our team, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller, who is ready to perform financial tasks with high quality and make a significant contribution to the financial well-being of our company. 🔥

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to optimize costs and increase profitability.
• Prepare and maintain management reporting for company leadership.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency of financial information across various projects.
• Monitor key financial indicators and prepare regular reports.
• Develop and control budgets, including plan-vs-actual variance analysis.
• Optimize accounting and reporting processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize financial risks.
• Work with European VAT and international financial processes.
• Support and oversee work in QuickBooks (approx. 200 transactions per month, 40 suppliers, Amazon settlements via A2X).
• Ensure accurate reporting with tax services (TaxDoo, Taxually).

Requirements:

• Higher education in finance, accounting, or economics.
• At least 3+years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Proven experience with P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory).
• Excellent knowledge of European VAT and global financial processes (mandatory).
• English level: Intermediate or higher.
