We are looking for Head of Deliverability which key responsibilities include advanced diagnostics and strategic analysis of the email environment (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS configuration, blacklist monitoring), proactive reputation management, close collaboration with marketing teams, compliance monitoring, and performance reporting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Email Deliverability Monitoring: Track and improve deliverability metrics across transactional and marketing campaigns.
  • Advanced Diagnostics: Conduct technical audits (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS, blacklist monitoring) and implement improvements.
  • Reputation Management: Maintain domain and IP reputation, manage blacklists, and reduce spam complaints.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with international laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR) and provider-specific policies.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing and IT teams to align campaign strategies with best deliverability practices.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed reports on performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.

     

    Key Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing or email deliverability.
  • Proven track record in improving deliverability and sender reputation.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and ESP platforms (e.g., Customer.io, Sendgrid).
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (PowerBI, LookerStudio) for deliverability insights.
  • Experience with warm-up and monitoring tools (Folderly, Warmy, GlockApps, mail-tester, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SPF, DKIM, DMARC protocols, DNS configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of dedicated/shared IP infrastructure, IP warming, and reverse DNS.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and international email compliance standards.
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and ability to work with large datasets.

     

    Nice to Have:

  • Experience designing long-term deliverability strategies across multiple regions.
  • Knowledge of segmentation, personalization, and content relevance as engagement drivers.
  • Strong communication and training skills to educate internal teams on email best practices
