Senior React Native Developer Offline

🔹About the project

 Our client is a leading media company in Western Europe, delivering high-quality content across various platforms, including newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, websites, apps, and podcasts. Their brands reach millions of people daily, shaping the media landscape with independent and trusted journalism.

🔹Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and maintain mobile applications using React Native
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver modern UX/UI
• Integrate with REST or GraphQL APIs
• Optimise performance, speed, and memory usage of mobile apps
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Participate in planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions

• Support and update existing applications, fix bugs, and deliver improvements

   

🔹Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript ES6+ / TypeScript and modern UI technologies
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React Native (including React Navigation v7, deep linking, nested navigators)
• Strong understanding of the React ecosystem (React, Redux Toolkit, RTK Query or alternatives, React Query, etc.)
• Experience with testing tools: Jest, React Native Testing Library
• Proficiency with Git and Git Flow
• Experience integrating with REST APIs; GraphQL knowledge (Apollo/URQL) is a plus
• Understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles
• Experience with CI/CD for mobile apps (e.g. Fastlane, EAS, Bitrise, GitHub Actions)
• Proven track record of publishing apps to App Store and Google Play
• Understanding of performance and memory optimisation in mobile applications
• Basic knowledge of working with native modules (Android/iOS)

🔹Nice to have:

• Experience with OTA updates (CodePush, EAS Update)
• Familiarity with styled-components, Emotion, or NativeWind
• Understanding of app security best practices (secure storage, obfuscation, encryption)

• We consider candidates who have at least an Upper-intermediate level of English.
• We work in a hybrid setup, so we prioritise candidates who are based in Kyiv or Lviv and can visit our office on their first working day.
