About the Role
As a Manual QA Engineer in the Network Team, you’ll be the voice of quality within Coro’s fast-moving R&D organization. Every release you greenlight shields thousands of SMBs from ransomware, phishing, and data breaches.

This role focuses primarily on manual testing, with future opportunities to grow into automation. You’ll design thoughtful test strategies, validate new modules, analyze logs, and drive efficiency to keep the platform resilient as it scales.
You’ll collaborate closely with developers and product managers in a dynamic, agile environment — making a real impact while advancing your skills.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full QA lifecycle for new and existing features — from planning and manual testing to regression and release support.
• Perform manual testing across platforms:
  • ~60% desktop applications (Windows & macOS)
  • ~30% web applications
  • ~10% mobile (iOS & Android)
• Participate in feature kickoff meetings; create and execute test plans based on requirements and design documents.
• Analyze logs to identify errors and exceptions; assist in debugging and issue resolution.
• Manage and document QA work in Jira with clear, structured bug reports and test cases.
• Support regression/smoke testing during monthly or quarterly Sunday releases (with compensatory time off).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product quality, reliability, and great user experience
   

Required Skills

• 5+ years of manual testing experience (with potential to grow into automation).
• Hands-on experience testing desktop, web, and mobile applications.
• Experience with test planning and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English (spoken & written).
• Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented personality.
   

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of network security (VPN, ZTNA, etc.) - big advantage.
• Automation testing experience (big plus)
• Experience analyzing production logs and working with tools like Coralogix, Grafana, GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, API testing, or load/performance testing.
