Data Visualization Specialist

We are seeking bold, bright and ambitious  and experienced data visualziation specialist extremely passionate about Big Data Design, have experience visualizing extremely complex, multidimensional datasets and is eager to be working at the forefront of innovations in sophisticated data design.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transforming complex datasets into visually compelling, clear, and actionable insights. As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments to create impactful data stories that drive decision-making and enhance business strategies. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing dashboards and visual reports, ensuring that they are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Requirements:

1. Lead the design and development of advanced data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
2. Translate business requirements into intuitive and insightful visual representations, ensuring that data stories are accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
3. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring that visualizations align with business objectives.
4. Maintain and optimize existing dashboards and visualizations for performance, usability, and scalability.
5. Develop and enforce data visualization standards and best practices within the organization
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization, ensuring that the company’s visualizations are cutting-edge and impactful.
7. Ensure all visualizations and dashboards comply with data governance and privacy standards.
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior visualization specialists and analysts, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
9. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
10. Minimum of 2 years as a Python Developer or Data Scientist;
    Knowledge of pandas, libraries for visualizing, experience with API, DataBox, Google Sheets, and Google Scripts (will be a plus);
11. Experience in the area of visualizations and Big Data;
12. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements starting from architecture level and technological stack proposal;
13. Ability to go deep into technical details keeping in mind the whole project scope and architecture;
14. Experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features;
15. Very good written and verbal communication skills in English;
16. Familiarity with Azure;

Responsibilities:

1. Data analysis: Collect, cleanse, and analyze large amounts of data to identify key findings and patterns. Prepare data for visualization.

2. Creating visualizations: Developing data visualizations to help users better understand information. This can include creating charts, graphs, diagrams, maps, and even three-dimensional data models. Testing of the graphs (visual elements) we have developed.

3. Interactive dashboards: Develop interactive dashboards that allow users to explore data independently and get the information they need. For example, using DataBox (or analogs), developing your own dashboards on Flask, FastAPI.

4. Performance optimization: Improving the performance of visualizations to work efficiently with large data sets.

5. Collaboration: Working closely with data analysts, data engineers, and customers to meet their data visualization needs.

6. Training and feedback: Training colleagues and users on how to work with data visualizations and taking their feedback into account to continuously improve visual solutions.

7. Keeping up with trends: Keeping up to date with the latest trends in data visualization and implementing them in your work.

8.Knowledge in using the WIX platform for website creation.

Would be a plus:

1. Understanding of the analytics and statistics;

2. A knack for benchmarking page performance and implementing optimization; 

3. Experience in pixel-perfect and trendy visuals;
