Chief Data Officer

Critical Requirements

* Proven and successful experience in Data Analytics for over 5 years, including at least 3+ years in leadership roles (Head, CDO)
* Deep understanding of the gambling industry, preferably with experience in online casinos
* Proven track record in building and managing analytics teams: hiring, task allocation, mentoring, grow
* Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python and BI tools
* Knowledge of Data Engineering fundamentals and data architectures (ETL processes, DWH)
* Involvement in implementing A/B testing systems and familiarity with Growth methodologies
* Experience in dashboarding and reporting for C-Level and departments such as product, marketing, finance, VIP, and support.
* Experience working directly with C-level executives (CEO, CPO, CMO, CTO) on data-driven strategy
* Strong analytical thinking, strategic mindset, and attention to detail.

Functional Responsibilities

* Develop and implement the company’s data strategy
* Build an efficient analytics ecosystem
* Coordinate the analytics team: manage a team of product, marketing, finance, customer care and web analysts
– Review analytical requests, prioritize tasks, and support team development
* Ensure data quality and metric transparency
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Optimize business processes through analytics
* Collaborate with IT, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams
– Implement systems for data quality checks, validation, and metric versioning.
– Develop and maintain a unified business metric dictionary
* Provide analytical support for business decision-making
*  Build predictive models (churn, VIP detection, fraud)
* Analyze player behavior, bonus performance, retention, and segmentation

Nice to have:

* Experience establishing data governance and data quality frameworks
* Knowledge of machine learning methods and real-world ML/AI applications
