🧩 About the Role
We’re hiring a Junior QA Analyst / Documentation Specialist to help us document functionality in already-developed systems by reverse-engineering and analyzing existing software behavior.
📌 This is a trainee-level position and ideal for someone looking for their first job in tech after completing a QA or Product Owner course.
If you’re already working in QA and looking for a second job or side project — this position is not a good fit.
You’ll work with real products, gain hands-on experience in documentation and testing, and learn how to think like a business analyst and product expert — all while working remotely and asynchronously.
🕓 Work Schedule wil be with cross hours with Dallas, Texas, so app till 8pm your local time.
Shift duration and schedule are flexible but aligned with a distributed team operating across time zones. You must be comfortable working independently during evening hours.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Explore developed systems and understand their behavior
- Reconstruct and write missing business and functional requirements
- Document software features and logic in clear, structured formats
- Perform exploratory testing to confirm functionality
- Communicate in writing with the team to verify unclear areas
- Identify edge cases, logic inconsistencies, or overlooked behavior
- Keep documentation versioned and organized
💡 Requirements
Must-Have:
- Completion of a QA Tester, QA Analyst, or Product Owner course (certificate or proof required)
- Strong written and reading English (spoken English not needed)
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow a logical thought process
- Comfortable working in documentation and task tracking tools Jira
- Willingness to learn and grow in a structured environment
Nice-to-Have:
- Basic familiarity with Agile, QA, or product workflows
- Academic or personal project experience in documentation or testing
- Understanding of software logic, user flows
- Previous exposure to Jira, Trello, or similar platforms (optional)
