Junior Data Scientist to $1000 Offline

About the Role

Postdata, an Australian consultancy with Ukrainian roots, is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Data Scientist/Consultant.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in guiding our clients, translating their business objectives into robust technical solutions. You'll tackle diverse and challenging mathematical problems across various domains, including Computer Vision, Chatbots, and Finance.

We are looking for candidates with a strong mathematical background. Your academic achievements, published papers, and scientific knowledge will be highly valued.

What You’ll Do

• Consult companies across various domains, including Finance, Construction, and Government.
• Estimate the projects.
• Leading communications with our clients and suggesting different mathematical approaches
• Work under the European timezone

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Python
• Theoretical understanding of Probability Theory, Statistics, Graph Theory, Time Series, Ranking Game Theory and Machine Learning.
• Version control expertise (Git/GitLab)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Upper Intermediate English

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Fast API
• Experience in building RAG systems
