About the Role

We’re looking for a Stylized Character Artist. You’ll work closely with a senior team to deliver hero-quality characters with precise anatomy, clean topology, and engine-ready output.

This is a hands-on, production-focused role for someone with a knowledge of the character pipeline β€” from blocking out to sculpting, from UV layout to texturing and final engine integration.

 

Responsibilities

β€’ Create high-quality characters for Unreal Engine (β‰ˆ70%) and Unity (β‰ˆ30%)

β€’ Sculpt custom elements in ZBrush, including clothing refinement and accessories

β€’ Produce textures compatible with Unreal & Unity

β€’ Optimize models for real-time usage: clean topology, proper UVs, and texture baking

β€’ Collaborate with riggers, animators, and tech artists to ensure engine integration

β€’ Deliver character assets ready for gameplay

β€’ Create facial expression systems and blendshapes

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

β€’ Expert in anatomy, with a sharp eye for form and proportion

β€’ Comfortable optimizing pipeline per task

β€’ Maintains high attention to detail, from silhouettes to wrinkles

β€’ Loves working on games and understands how characters serve gameplay

β€’ Works efficiently under deadlines and thrives in a collaborative environment

 

Nice to Have

β€’ Experience with rigging and skinning (even basic)

β€’ Ability to model and texture creatures or semi-realistic characters

β€’ Understanding of facial expression systems and blendshape pipelines
