Junior PHP Developer to $1500

Description

Artigaming is expanding its team and looking for a Junior PHP Developer to join our product team in the iGaming sphere. We build innovative solutions with no unnecessary bureaucracy, value initiative, and support a healthy team environment.

Requirements:

– 1+ year of commercial experience with PHP 7+ / 8
– Basic knowledge of OOP principles and SOLID
– Experience working with Yii2 framework
– Understanding of REST APIs and integrations
– Familiarity with MySQL (basic queries, joins)
– Basic experience with Git (clone, commit, merge, branching)
– Familiarity with debugging tools (Xdebug, Postman)
– Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows

Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain backend logic using PHP and modern frameworks
– Work with relational databases and write optimized SQL queries
– Develop RESTful API endpoints
– Collaborate with Senior Developers on project architecture
– Participate in sprints and daily team meetings
– Follow internal coding standards and best practices

Would be a plus:

– Experience with Docker, Apache2
– Understanding of composer and dependency management
– Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
– Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ
