Junior Project Manager Offline

Waites Inc. — is the product company that develops a system of condition control, preventive monitoring and vibrating equipment diagnostics. We provide a complete cycle of product development, from designing and manufacturing our own sensors, data modules, gateways, and our radio protocol to processing billions of incoming telemetry data, machine learning, web mapping systems, analytics systems, and mobile applications.Our systems help customers identify equipment malfunctions long before they fail, and plan repairs or replacements without loss.

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team and support the delivery of initiatives by optimizing internal processes and ensuring smooth execution across stakeholders. This role focuses on operational coordination, process management, and delivery oversight, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with our Product Owner and development teams to transform strategic vision into tactical execution.

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of project management experience, preferably in technology or data analytics environments
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities Project Management

• Plan, execute, and monitor software projects from initiation to closure
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective, daily stand‑ups).
• Maintain Jira boards, burn down charts, and delivery metrics.
• Own the RAID log; escalate issues and blockers promptly.
• Produce weekly status reports and contribute to PMO dashboards.
• Coordinate cross‑team dependencies and release readiness tasks.
• Champion process compliance (Definition of Ready/Done, workflow gates).
• Drive continuous improvement actions from retrospectives.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with Product Owner and Product Manager on product requirements and priorities
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports
• Manage expectations and resolve conflicts

Process Improvement

• Maintain PMO standards and best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes
• Support the team in adopting new methodologies and tools
