Business Development Manager

 

We are launching a new iGaming project and looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our payment infrastructure in Southeast Asia. Your mission will be to identify, onboard, and manage local PSPs, build a reliable and conversion-optimized payment stack, and ensure frictionless deposit and withdrawal experiences for users in key markets.

You will be responsible for evaluating PSP opportunities, negotiating terms, managing integrations, and continuously improving approval rates and processing efficiency.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Market Research & Partner Sourcing

  • Research local payment methods and market trends in SEA
  • Identify and evaluate new PSPs (e-wallets, local banks, aggregators, crypto)
  • Conduct competitive analysis on methods, pricing, approval rates, and features

Relationship Management & Negotiations

  • Lead negotiations with PSPs: commercial terms, SLAs, reserves, fees
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on onboarding (KYC/KYB)
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with payment providers

Integration Oversight

  • Coordinate PSP integrations with internal tech teams
  • Ensure timely and complete delivery of technical documentation
  • Oversee full lifecycle from sandbox to production

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor payment performance metrics across all integrated PSPs
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose routing or provider improvements
  • Track key indicators: Approval Rates, Settlement Delays, Decline Reasons

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on all PSPs: commercial terms, live status, fees
  • Prepare regular reports on payment provider performance and roadmap updates
  • Keep internal tools (Sheets, Notion, CRM) structured and current
     

Requirements:
 

  • 2+ years of experience in BizDev, Payments, or Account Management in iGaming, FinTech, or PSP companies
  • Hands-on experience sourcing and integrating payment providers
  • Strong negotiation skills and understanding of key terms (fees, reserves, settlement cycles)
  • Familiarity with payment infrastructure, APIs, and integration processes
  • Experience with KYC/KYB procedures and due diligence workflows
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher (written and spoken)
     

Nice-to-Have:

 

  • Knowledge of SEA payment systems (GCash, Maya, DragonPay, local banks)
  • Experience working in high-risk verticals or Tier 3 markets
  • Exposure to hybrid/crypto payment processors
  • Understanding of iGaming payment metrics (GGR, NGR, Net Deposits)
  • Participation in industry events (SiGMA, iGB, etc.)
