VitaUp is building a category-leading supplements brand across Amazon US & EU.

 

We compete in one of the most complex and competitive categories on Amazon โ€” health & wellness โ€” alongside brands like NOW, Pure Encapsulations, and Nature Made. We already have proven products, strong unit economics, and an established operational foundation. Our next stage is aggressive scaling.

 

We are looking for a Head of Amazon Growth โ€” a commercially-minded operator, strategist, and leader who understands how to scale Amazon businesses in highly competitive supplement categories.

This role is closer to running a business unit than managing a marketplace account.

 

You will own Amazon growth end-to-end: category strategy, product launches, profitability, team leadership, operational scalability, and performance execution across US & EU marketplaces.

 

We are not looking for a coordinator or task manager. We are looking for someone who thinks like an owner, moves fast, understands the numbers behind growth, and knows how to build scalable systems and high-performing teams.

 

What You Will Own

 

You will be fully accountable for Amazon business performance:

  • revenue growth
  • profitability
  • launch performance
  • operational scalability
  • market expansion
  • category positioning

     

You will define how products compete, scale, and win within the health & supplements category.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and executing Amazon growth strategy across US & EU marketplaces
  • Leading end-to-end product launches from market opportunity analysis to post-launch scaling
  • Driving performance through data, experimentation, and operational excellence
  • Owning P&L decisions and balancing aggressive growth with profitability
  • Identifying new growth levers, category opportunities, and expansion potential
  • Building scalable processes and operational infrastructure for long-term growth
  • Managing forecasting, inventory planning, and supply coordination around growth cycles
  • Leading and scaling a cross-functional Amazon team across PPC, design, content, analytics, influencer and affiliate functions
  • Creating accountability systems, workflows, and performance standards across the team
  • Working directly with founders on strategic growth decisions and long-term scaling initiatives

 

 

What We Are Looking For

 

Proven Amazon Scaling Experience

- You have 5+ years of hands-on Amazon experience with a strong track record of scaling brands or product portfolios.

- You have personally driven products from launch to significant monthly revenue and can clearly explain:

  • what you scaled
  • how you scaled it
  • which levers created growth
  • what challenges you solved

     

We are looking for operators, not coordinators.

 

Supplements / Health Category Expertise

You deeply understand:

  • dietary supplements
  • wellness products
  • customer psychology in health categories
  • competitive dynamics
  • compliance-sensitive product positioning

     

Experience in supplements, nutraceuticals, wellness, sports nutrition, or adjacent regulated categories is highly preferred.

 

Strong Commercial & Analytical Thinking

You think like a business owner. You understand:

  • profitability

  • ranking mechanics
  • conversion optimization
  • launch velocity
  • category strategy

     

You make decisions based on data, not assumptions.

 

Leadership & Team Management

  • You have experience leading and developing cross-functional teams in fast-scaling environments.
  • Ideally, you have managed teams of 10+ people across multiple business functions while remaining hands-on and operationally involved.

     

Ownership Mentality

  • You are highly autonomous and proactive.
  • You do not wait for instructions.
    You identify problems early, make decisions quickly, and create structure where needed.
  • You are comfortable operating in high-growth environments where priorities evolve fast.

 

Compliance & Marketplace Understanding

You understand Amazon policies and the complexity of operating in regulated health categories.

 

Knowledge of:

  • FDA/FTC compliance
  • Amazon content policies
  • supplement claims
  • account health & compliance risks
    is a strong plus.
