AI Engineer - Survey Analysis Automation Offline

Our prospect is a national nonprofit in the USA that helps education and youth-serving organizations build capacity and deepen their impact by connecting them to the expertise, resources, and hands-on support they need to drive transformational outcomes for students, families, and communities.

They are potentially seeking for an AI Engineer to automate survey analysis workflows involving data extraction, cleaning, visualization, and process improvement recommendations. The role focuses on building end-to-end automation for survey data processing pipelines using both no-code platforms and custom Python solutions.

Ideal for engineers who combine automation expertise with AI/LLM integration skills and have experience building practical business process automation solutions (The final details are pending finalization).

Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction & Integration - Extract survey results from Qualtrics (exported as Google Sheets) - Handle various survey formats and question types;
• Data Cleaning & Processing - Automated data quality checks and validation - Handle missing responses, duplicates, and inconsistent data - Standardize response formats and categories - Implement data transformation and normalization;
• Analysis, Visualization & Reporting - Generate automated summaries and insights using AI/LLMs - Create charts, graphs, and visualizations - Build automated report generation (PDF, PowerPoint, Excel);
• Process Improvement & Optimization - Analyze workflow efficiency and identify bottlenecks - Recommend automation opportunities and system improvements.

• Advanced proficiency with Python: pandas, numpy, matplotlib/plotly, openpyxl;
• Hands-on experience with no-code platforms and tools like n8n, Zapier, Make.com, Microsoft Power Automate;
• Experience with APIs & Integration: REST APIs, Google Sheets API, Qualtrics API, webhooks;
• Experience with Data Processing: ETL pipelines, data validation, statistical analysis;
• Experience with Large Language Models: OpenAI GPT API, prompt engineering, context management;
• Experience with AI Frameworks: LangChain, Hugging Face transformers;
• Experience with Natural Language Processing: Text analysis, summarization, insight extraction;
• Experience with Automated Content Generation: Dynamic reports, presentations, recommendations.

• Visualization Libraries: Matplotlib, Plotly, Seaborn for automated chart generation;
• Document Generation: python-pptx, reportlab, automated PowerPoint/PDF creation;
• Spreadsheet Automation: openpyxl, xlsxwriter, Google Sheets integration;
• Dashboard Development: Streamlit, Dash, or similar for interactive reporting.

• Qualtrics: API integration, data export formats, survey metadata handling;
• Google Workspace: Sheets API, Drive integration, automated file management;
• Data Formats: CSV, JSON, XML processing and transformation;
• Survey Analytics: Response analysis, rating systems, feedback categorization.
