Internal Communications Specialist

We’re opening a new position for an Internal Communications Specialist — a key connector who will build, structure, and maintain effective communication across teams in a complex environment. You will create formats and rituals to keep people aligned, foster a culture of openness, and support internal cohesion while also reflecting external achievements and milestones inside the organization. New role created to facilitate internal communication across teams on-site. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement the internal communications system across teams and levels 
  • Launch and maintain communication rituals: team syncs, info boards, digests, townhalls, decision notes 
  • Establish an information vertical: from executive messages to operational updates 
  • Detect and resolve communication gaps and misunderstandings between teams 
  • Foster a culture of clear, non-siloed, and meaningful communication 
  • Support communication during transformation (restructuring, scaling, shifting priorities) 
  • Highlight company success externally — and reflect it internally (news, market wins, industry relevance, etc) 

Requirements 

  • 3+ years in internal communications or team facilitation (internal comms lead, scrum master, ops partner, chief of staff, etc.) 
  • Background in tech, product-driven, or fast-scaling organizations 
  • Experience with cultural change or crisis communication initiatives 
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional collaboration and team dynamics 
  • Ability to shape narratives at various scales (from micro syncs to company-wide presentations) 
  • Hands-on experience with modern communication platforms and tooling 
  • High emotional intelligence, flexibility, conflict navigation, and solution orientation
