Middle AI Engineer

We are looking for an exceptional engineer to help shape the future of intelligent video and audio analysis through artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in computer vision, video and/or audio processing, and hands-on experience building and optimizing systems for understanding multimedia streams. As one of our early engineers, you will play a key role in developing our core technology and shaping the technical direction of our products.

Main responsibilities
- Develop scalable pipelines for processing and inferencing video and audio data on cloud platforms and edge devices;
- Architecture, development and optimization of models for video/audio analysis, search and contextual understanding;
- Work closely with the founding team to define product strategy and technical roadmap;
- Drive innovation in approaches to data collection, augmentation, data markup, and model training.

Required qualifications
- High level of proficiency in Python and/or C++;
- Knowledge of ONNX, OpenVINO, TorchScript or TensorRT for model optimization and efficient inference;
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) for large-scale data processing and model training;
- Understanding of video and audio codecs, streaming protocols, and related technologies;
- Hands-on experience with modern large language models (LLMs) such as LLaMA, Gemma, Mistral or similar, and skills in deploying and running such models via local runners such as Ollama, LM Studio and Docker containers.
 

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of model optimization and efficient inference tools (ONNX, OpenVINO, TorchScript, TensorRT);
- Experience using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) for large-scale data processing and model training;
- Understanding of video and audio codecs, streaming protocols and related technologies;
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks for processing large amounts of data;
- Understanding of MLOps principles and model deployment strategies
