UI/UX Designer

Key Responsibilities (what you’ll do first & most)
 

1. Spin up new Shopify stores and other no-code sites from scratch.
   • You’ll design the UI, build the flows, configure apps, and publish end-to-end.
      
2. Own the full design cycle.
   • Research, wireframe, prototype, and create pixel-perfect visuals.
      
3. Leverage AI in daily work.
   • Rapid ideation with Gen-AI tools, prompt engineering for image/content generation, AI-powered user-testing insights, etc.
      
4. Iterate & optimise live sites.
   • Refine UX based on analytics, and push updates via no-code.
      
5. Collaborate with devs
   • Translate growth ideas into clean, scalable design and no-code implementations.
      

(No-code skills are trainable—expect a guided ramp-up. Mastery of AI tools, however, is non-negotiable.)

Must-Have Qualifications
 

• Solid, public portfolio.
• Proficiency in Figma, design systems, and responsive principles.
• Daily use of AI design tooling (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT, Figma AI workflows).
• Strong English communication for async teamwork.
• Work an 8-hour shift tracked in Hubstaff.
   

Nice-to-Have (learn here if you don’t yet know)
 

• Hands-on Shopify theme customisation (Liquid, metafields, app setup).
• Experience with any modern no-code builder: Webflow, Framer, Bubble, Glide, Softr, etc.
• Basic HTML/CSS tweaks inside no-code platforms.
