Solution Architect for Energy domain program IRC261459
Description
A program of projects within the Energy domain. We will work on various applications covering generation control, distribution control, transmission control, and service crews control. The implementation area of these products is very high-scale (e.g. country-wide systems).
Requirements
Weβre looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to join our team and work on several projects under one Program.
β Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related subject. It will be important for you to dive into the product domain.
β Experience as a hands-on architect for at least 2-3 years.
β Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications. Weβre specifically looking for people who are capable of designing an application, pitching a design to a client team, making a case for it, supporting it with needed artifacts (PowerPoint, diagrams, PoCs), and not only working as a lead developer on steroids.
β Excellent with Cloud and Microservices Architecture. Preferably you hold certification in Azure (AWS is fine, but weβll work with Azure)
β Still, we expect you to write some code and be hands-on with the products youβre going to work with. So proficiency in C# is important. Additionally, it is important that you bring technical excellence processes to the team and establish code review, quality and testing practices.
β You will need to speak with architects on the client side, so you should not be afraid of preparing powerpoint slides, documents and then presenting them to the client.
β There will be some business trips (mostly around Europe)
β Experience in manufacturing, energy, and industrial domains will be a plus
Job responsibilities
Your primary goal will be building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. Successful candidates will be a part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications.
β Team leadership and architecture alignment for multiple teams.
β Transforming business requirements to solutions and then working with software teams to transform them into technical requirements
β Maintaining solution architecture, ensuring it is aligned with enterprise architecture; align with other technical stakeholders
β Work on the development side (Β±25%) to stay hands-on and actually understand what is happenning
β Work closely with Senior Managers, QA Leads, Lead BAs to improve practices and processes on the Program.
