Job Title: Finance and Reporting Analyst

Position Overview
The Finance and Reporting Analyst will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while leveraging expert-level Xero knowledge to refactor and optimize financial systems. This role requires a logical thinker with strong technical skills to streamline processes, deliver insightful reports, and drive cost efficiencies.


Key Responsibilities
1) Manage and organize accounting operations, including transactions, reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting.
2) Analyze and refactor the current Xero setup, including chart of accounts, tracking categories, automations, rules, and integrations.
3) Manage and optimize the use of Xero accounting software, ensuring all financial data is accurate, timely, and organized.
4) Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to management, highlighting key metrics, anomalies, and trends.
5) Restructure and streamline financial processes to ensure logical categorization, tagging, and reporting of all financial activities.
6) Identify and flag wasteful or inefficient spending to management.


Key Requirements:
1) Minimum of 3-5 years of proven corporate experience in a similar role.
2) Expert-level in Xero or similar accounting system, including setting up or cleaning up accounts, tracking categories, rules, integrations, and automation.
2) Familiarity with technology and AI .
3) Proven ability to manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
4) Strong analytical and logical thinking skills to optimize processes and identify inefficiencies.
5) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.


Nice to Have:
1) Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and international accounting.
2) Experience with database management for financial reporting and reconciliation.
3) Understanding of cloud-based accounting platforms and their APIs for automation.
